HOW WE WORK?
STEP 1: CLIENT BRAINSTORM
Every creative project starts with a call or meeting together with the client or the producer. At this point we can establish the creative freedom we have as well as the constraints and limits we must abide by and the timeline to take into account in order to deliver.

All of our projects are bespoke, and thus, our clients can enjoy a personal relationship with our team and significant involvement with the project, if they so wish.
No project can ebgin without a good brainstorm session in which we flesh out the ideas.
Once we have established the guidelines given to us by the client, the ECHT team will sit down together to throw around all sorts of ideas.
In this process we also establish the creative direction that we will be taking the project in. This is fundamental so as to have a final piece that has a unified feeling to it and clear message.

Sometimes this step comes before Step 1. Alternatively we offer creative consultancy as a service, since it can be extremely productive to sit down with someone or a team to discuss, brainstorm and write down ideas.
STEP 2: CREATIVE DIRECTION
STEP 3: STORYBOARD, SCRIPT
& PLANNING
Once the creative direction is established the storyboard, script and planning are the key elements needed to pull the whole project together.
Script usually comes first, and this is dependent on the sort of project, whether it is a film, sketch, or rather capturing something live or without words.
Once the script is done we put together a storyboard and shot list, so that the Director of Photography or creative running the shoot will be able to understand clearly the creative direction of the piece.
The final stage of step 3 is the planning process in which we put together a strict schedule & itinerary for each shoot, so that we achieve the desired outcome.
STEP 4: FILMING
The bit we all love; the filming process.
This step is often the most complex, and most dependant on the attention to detail from the director or team running the shoot.
On every set we tend to have a Director, DoP or Cinematographer, Camera operator and actors, but of course it depends on the scale of the project.
Editing, Music & sound design, otherwise known as post-production, is where the magic happens.
The editor is responsable for completely transforming the piece into something digestable.
We have editors on our team that have been editing for 10 years.
Sound design are almost more important than the visuals. People will more often notice poor sound to poor visuals.
When it comes to music, we tend to use Epidemic Sound or our in-house composer to create original bespoke music for each project.
STEP 5: EDITING &
SOUND DESIGN
STEP 6: REVIEW WITH CLIENT
The final stage before packaging and releasing is reviewing the project with the client. We normally allow for 3 rounds of feedback before we charge extra.
This stage is key when it comes to the fine tuning and polishing of the film.
